Casa 3000 is Brought to Life by Pedrali’s New Furniture Collections

Although evoking an image of a fairy tale, Casa 3000 – a solitary red house designed by Rebelo de Andrade amongst the Cork Oaks and umbrella pines of the Alentejo region in Portugal – is brought to life by Pedrali‘s new furniture collections.

Called #Pedralitales, the Italian brand’s indoor and outdoor pieces are dotted around and throughout the dramatic architecture, which is characterized by striking shapes of clean lines and bright color. In stark contrast, this backdrop highlights the calm elegance of the furniture designs – all captured in scenes by Andrea Garuti.

#Pedralitales, at Casa 3000, welcomes visitors home with the minimal yet all-embracing form of the Soul outdoor armchair by Eugeni Quitllet. As a pure expression of creativity, its curved, sculptural aluminum tubular structure reveal a classical form that, despite its thinness, has solid proportions. The ergonomic seat, shaped in teak slats, cosily envelopes users. The scene is complete with the Concrete table by Pio and Tito Toso, which has a steel column rising from a base made from its namesake material.

Under the veranda or put in the open to enjoy the landscape at twilight, the next two scenes feature the Tribeca collection created by CMP design. It visualizes a contemporary interpretation of a classic 1960s patio chair, like those of our childhood memories of summer. The materials have been reimagined: a steel frame supports the elastic-like weave of highly durable, colorful and easy to clean plastic. These woven cords cast mesmerising shadows onto the ground below. The distinctive versatility of the design makes it adaptable and suitable for a variety of settings.

The final outdoor scene unites many of Pedrali’s outdoor furnishing together as one. Here, the wireless Giravolta outdoor lamp, created by Basaglia Rota Nodari, sits as a cornerstone between the Patrick Jouin-designed Reva lounge chair and sofa. The smooth lines and generous sizes of the seating reflects the relaxing, dream-like atmosphere of its setting. Finally, the welcoming form of the Buddy table by Busetti Garuti Redaelli contrasts against the red wall of the house.
